Dolphins fire Cameron and all but two of his assistants

Cameron might have been a good guy but he was clearly in over his head. Going by his record alone isn't enough. It's not the only thing that did him in. It was his poor play calling, his poor game management and even poorer team management as vets started to quietly revolt against him.

Well, two of my wishes have come true. Happy new year!

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

What a shame that Cam Cameron paid the ultimate price for the decisions of Universitiy of Alabama's Nick Satan! He did all he could with a team that had more injuries in one season than I can remember.
Not too many coaches could have won more games with a mostly 3rd string team.

Best of luck to you where ever you go, Cam.

What is mostly overlooked unless you watched the games or are a Dolphin fan is the horrible way he managed the game from calling odd plays to poor clock management. Not to mention the way he lost the locker room to vets. If he knew that he had such a short leash, he would've kept a lot of the players he traded or released. Good guy I'm sure and I'm certain he'll land somewhere as a coordinator...but it will be a while before he coaches.
